Main Focus - Level Design
For this project, my team and I drew inspiration from the British Isle and created a level in which the player explores a trail leading up a mountain, finding ruins of abandoned forts and collecting treasure.
One of the project’s restrictions was that we couldn't add new mechanics and were limited in the kind of assets we could use. However, we didn't let this stop us from creating something we could be proud of.
During this project, I wanted to emulate the feeling that I used to get from The original Tomb Raider games from my childhood. The mystery and wonder those games held for me were some of the biggest inspirations that I had for wanting to go into game design.
In the future, I will continue to refine my skills so that I can deliver the quality of work required so that others can share in the experiences that helped make me who I am today.
